Quick Tips in Microsoft Outlook Calendar

  

The Calendar inside Microsoft Outlook is jam-packed with helpful features you may not have known exist. This guide will walk you through the most helpful tips related to the version on your computer.

Getting to Your Calendar

1. Go to the Start Menu (A) on your computer and search for 'Outlook' (B), then click on the Outlook icon (C)

2. Click on the Calendar icon in the bottom-left.

3. You're All Set! You've gotten to the Outlook Calendar.

 

Views

Being able to change how many days are displayed is very helpful when viewing your calendar. Luckily, Outlook has a way to quickly and easily change this. 

Start by clicking on the View you would like from the top tool bar.

  • The favorite views are typically Work Week and Schedule View as they provide the best views to the most info without feeling cluttered. 

     

Tasks

Tasks give you an easy way to track what needs to get done. 

1.  Click on the Tasks icon in the bottom-left

2.  Here you will see any emails you have Flagged as well as Tasks

3.  To add a new Task, click the "New Task" button in the upper-left.

4.  Fill out the required details (A), then click the 'Save & Close' button in the upper-left (B).

5.  You're All Set! This Task will now appear on your calendar
