ParentVue: Why are Some Buttons Not Working in My Safari Browser?



Safari may be blocking pop-ups for several buttons within ParentVue.  Those with known issues are Services Tracker, Bus Request, and IS Documents.

There is an easy fix for this, and the screenshots are included below:

  1. Open Safari and log in to ParentVue.
  2. Click on the Safari menu and then click on “Settings for pvue.psdschools.org” as highlighted below.

  1. In the new window that opens, find the line that reads “Pop-up Windows” (about halfway down) and click to the right where it says “Block and Notify”.
  2. In the drop-down that now shows, click “Allow” as shown below:

  1. Click outside of the small box.
  2. Try the button within ParentVue that did not work before, and it should work now.
