Joining Your Microsoft Teams Class

This guide will help students join a Microsoft Teams class meeting using a link emailed by teachers. 

 

1. Joining Your Class from Email Link 

Teachers will send an email with a link to join class meetings. 

  1. Open district email.
  2. Find the message with the class meeting link.
  3. Click the link — it will open Teams automatically.
  4. You will see a screen that lets you check your:
    • Camera
    • Microphone
    • Background
  5. Click Join now

You are now in the class meeting! 

 

2. Tips & Troubleshooting 
  • If the link does not open, try copying and pasting it into your browser.
  • If audio or video is not working, check that the microphone and camera are allowed when prompted.
  • Make sure you are using your district account, not a personal one.
  • If you lose connection, click the same link in the email again to rejoin.
