Joining Your Microsoft Teams Class
This guide will help students join a Microsoft Teams class meeting using a link emailed by teachers.
1. Joining Your Class from Email Link
Teachers will send an email with a link to join class meetings.
- Open district email.
- Find the message with the class meeting link.
- Click the link — it will open Teams automatically.
- You will see a screen that lets you check your:
- Camera
- Microphone
- Background
- Click Join now.
You are now in the class meeting!
2. Tips & Troubleshooting
- If the link does not open, try copying and pasting it into your browser.
- If audio or video is not working, check that the microphone and camera are allowed when prompted.
- Make sure you are using your district account, not a personal one.
- If you lose connection, click the same link in the email again to rejoin.
