New Policies for PSD Volunteers Returning to Schools

Are You a Currently a Volunteer in the District or Would You Like to Sign Up to Help?

As of last week, schools could decide whether to engage volunteers in-person again. Sites and volunteers are expected to follow district protocols. PSD is not permitting parents/guardians, guest speakers or anyone else who is not a volunteer, approved vendor/contractor, or student-teacher/intern/practicum student in schools at this time unless it is part of a school-wide event in which case they can use the Community Event application on S.E.A.T..

We will be requiring our Volunteers to Self-Screen each day before going into their sites. This will provide another means of protecting our Students, Staff, and  Community as we continue to move forward during the pandemic.

If you would like more information on District protocols or where to find the Self-Screening app, please click here.

Additional help can be found by calling the School where your child attends or where you wish to volunteer

PSD does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, veteran status, age or disability in access or admission to, or treatment or employment in, its programs or activities. A lack of English speaking skills will not be a barrier to admission or participation.
